	When there is a painful stimulus, will move limbs slightly and frowns.
	Does not make eye contact with the mother.
	Laughs when provoked, but seems dazed.
	Does not laugh when provoked, but can make eye contact.
	Will barely open eyes when repeatedly called.
	Looks at the drink or baby bottle, and tried to drink.
	When called, eyes open and looks.
	Takes action to relieve painful stimuli.
	Does not respond to painful stimuli. If there is no response to painful stimuli, make sure your child is “breathing as usual”. If your child is not breathing or has strange breathing, cardiopulmonary resuscitation is necessary. Dial 119 and calmly follow the instructions provided by the operator. If your child is breathing, observe the breathing until the ambulance arrives. If an older child, please rest him/her in the position shown in the illustration.
